Glad to have found this forum. I just started in the ml game. I found a kit T/C Hawken in excellent shape at a thrift store and that started me off. It's a 50. 1:48 twist, 15/16" land from the 80's according to my research. It get's pretty good accuracy so far with low loads Also lucked into a Green River barrel, Grand Junction, Colorado manufacture by Bob Black. Only found one or two references to GRRW so far. The gentleman who sold it even sent the original tube it came in. That's also 80's manufacture with a slow twist. Haven't shot that yet. It's only been shot 9 times by him and then stored away. Looks it too. I'll put some pics up later. I live in the Los Angeles area but have been truck driving for the past 3 yrs all over. I go to the Angeles range when I could.

Welcome to the family JP! It looks like you have got a pretty good start and found some very nice guns. Please do post pictures, especially of that GRRW gun.

Welcome to our illness...there is no cure, and no escape, so might as well enjoy it! :hatsoff:
