Hi all,

My name is Russell. I live in Houston, Texas. My late brother was avidly into Civil War era studies, regalia, firearms and reenactment. He was therefore into black powder and muzzleloaders. I inherited some awesome things from him that I will be looking to find a new home for (with someone local). I'm enjoying learning a bit more about all this and do think the world of it. I am a firearms enthusiast but more strictly for home and self-defense. Don't really have time or money for much else.

I do have this beautiful unused Pedersoli 10 gauge double barreled fowler and a ton of supplies and accessories, including reenactment stuff.

Welcome from the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. If you can find some PB shooters in your area, you can definitely learn to use that Pedersoli with accuracy.
It does looks fun! I've watched vids on Youtube. One was so idyllic. Aristocratic looking Euro guy with the best bird dog I've ever seen, out there hunting in a timeless way. But I'm just a schoolteacher and need $ to pay the mortgage. These things belong with a committed enthusiast.
