Hello! I'm fairly new to the blackpowder world not having shot one since my younger scouting days. After months of heckling, begging, and groveling my old man finally passed me his Thompson Center Hawken. It's been fairly neglected and needs some TLC, so I hope to learn a lot about restoration here. Looking forward to getting into the old world for a while.

Great! I'm up North in the Denver area. Hope you weren't affected by the wildfire madness going around these last few years.

Nah, other than a little smoke drifting our way from time to time we were fine. It would have had to come south through the Springs to get to us. I'm just glad I wasn't on Rte 24 a couple of days ago, my car doesn't need a mud bath.
