Some years ago we considered retiring to Maryland. We trailered sailboats to the Cambridge area annually and had friends that lived down there. Kind of glad we stayed rooted here. It's been hot . . . but not insufferable hot (i.e. anything over 90 degrees and 60 percent humidity).
 
Welcome from Virginia! I used to live in the Old Line State, I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore and miss it very much! Don’t miss the beach traffic and the awful driving though, although there are plenty of people here who could use a refresher on driving haha.
