Hello to all.

I've been a long gun shooter since I was 6 or 7 on the banks of the Ohio River. I moved with family over the mountains to NC way back in the 60's. And have been shooting all that time. But never black powder. I'm finding my shooting interest going backwards further and further as I get older and older.

They make Bushmasters here. And I generally shoot vintage combat rifles. However the draw of blackpowder grows. I eyeballed this project gun many years ago. And finally picked it up last week. It turns out it now appears to be a Little Leman. And much too small for me. But good for one of my girls.

This forum is already valuable as gold to me. Thank You for the opportunity to post. And I hope you all can help me with this very difficult, if not impossible, project.

My blowed up Little Leman:

Welcome aboard, there is a lot of knowledge here. Also looks like you need to get your own smokepole to go with your girls!
