Joined this forum, mainly because was researching a rifle used in a Daniel Boone episode. (I'm kind of nosy, that way.) Everything I found said it was a Ferguson, It Wasn't. Used to deer hunt with a muzzleloader and do some target shooting, but not so much anymore for health and age reasons. But still love 'em. Do carry a reproduction Colt New Army .44 cap & ball for protection. Hope this counts. Love the smell of burned black powder too.
