“When the sands of Dare get in your shoes the soul of Dare creeps into your heart”

I was in THE LOST COLONY 5 summers, played Father Martin, met my life mate their in 1961. Wound up directing HORN IN THE WEST 20 yrs and falling in love with black powder. Welcome brother from Boone, “the heart of the high country”. And I have a neat flintlock for sale here.

I have seen both, many times, good stuff... :)

Welcome from Central Pennsylvania. I visit Hatteras often and would love to hear some hunting stories from that area. Looks like a good fowler area.

Ahoy Capt. Bo, I'm a Capt. too. Got my lic. 25 years back in FL. Now I'm in TN. Worked for Ingram for a spell doing the barge thing and now run my own marine business on the Cumberland. Welcome aboard.

I am Capt. Bo ( the sea faring type) I am interested in all types of firearms, I yet do not own a flintlock, however I suspect that to change soon ! I have built a 50 cal. percussion kit and enjoy owning it. I call the lower OBX my home port!
Welcome, I'm a Md guy , now in Fl. thats spent a bunch of time in the outter banks. Its one of my fav places between Roanoke island/ Manteo & Okracoke island, Hatteras & Nagshead & Oregon inlet area.

Another welcome from NC. Surry County here also, 10 miles west of downtown Mt Airy.
Thats a nice area where you are. I miss not bein able to go to the all Harley Dirt ( sand ) drags at Surry's 1/4 mi track & the 3 day party was always awesome too. NC in general is one of my fav states & though I've spent a hellova lot of time in NC & covered a lotta ground, it was never enough. Not many states that I've been in had that effect on me.
