Howdy All,

Name's Dave Mathis. Originally yale from the Adirondack's of NY. Living on the Eastern Shore of Virginia at the moment. Been muzzleloading since I was in my teens and am 44 now. Never had a flinter though and that's why I'm here.

Howdy Dave. Welcome aboard! This is definately the place for flintlock info. I got into it a few months back and these folks made the transition from percussion very easy and problem free.

Welcome Dave, I converted to flint 8 years ago and I'll never shoot another cap gun! I heered them .40's is the most accurate you kin get, buildin one right now for a young pup who's just getting started. Got me a SLP Bess I'm fixin to refinish when this 40's done, and got a .50 Haines flint rifle. :hatsoff:

Dave,
Welcome to the MLF, great having you with
us. You sure came to the right place for F/L
information. I agree with "Stumblin" you might
want to consider a .40. Of course depending
on your specific needs. I know I am off topic
for this forum. Visit often and contribute when
can.
again welcome and stay active
I am snake-eyes :hatsoff:
