Just signed in today. My name is Phillip. I have been shooting muzzleloaders off and on since about 1976 when my father gave me a flintlock built by a local club member. My wife, son and I attend rendezvous whenever we can find the time. We live at the Lake of The Ozarks. I am a Paramedic however, have been recently recalled to active Army for recruiting duty.

I started out in the fur trade time period but am gradually moving to the early colonial and F&I period. I have been brain tanning deer hides for about 5 years now and recently began building a southern mountain rifle from parts I have collected over the last few years.

Glad to be here and look forward to learning and maybe giving a little knowledge about this wonderful sport, hobby and lifestyle.
