I attended this show again this year and found even more interesting earlier styled firearms to look at. Here are some photos to examine.

Who are the matchlock/early firelock builders? Cool to see some more out in the wild!

perhaps some others who were there could chime in if they know who made each piece shown. One table belonged to a Brian Anderson who made some wheel locks. Not sure about the others that belonged to a reanactors group. Their display had a pieces made by several makers.

I will add that the reanactors groups display consisted of guns made by makers who no longer build. Sadly. The Day brothers were back this year and said they would be soon producing again.

Nifty.... Best shooting I ever seen with a muzzle loader was a fellow. He used his match lock against several of us shooting our flintlock guns. He shot a perfect fifty score shooting off hand at fifty yards. Impressed we were...

Two days clear after Colvid, that was bad, wife Joan still suffering

Postman with a big box , it’s my Holts guns. Chucked the cheap rusty Ml aside and there my Fedstutzer See utube Swiss target and sniper rifle 1851 and it’s private order delux gave it a good clean almost there. Note great 10.4mm or .41” very good bore. ££££ under a grand

' The new way backwards' , Love it right up my alley . With that shooting OH at fifty yards with any thing has to be impressive could I ask what target was used. But even the 200 yards International target has a 4" bull'and thats hard to score at 55 yards . ( I never adopted metric ).
