Knapping demos all weekend

I and several others you all know will be there doing demos. I’ll do one on using planes in stocking a long gun from a blank and another on forming patchbox hinges and early, unusual brass patchbox latch designs. Chiefly, the details of patchboxes by Fainot of Lancaster and the sliding bolt style of latch found on the Musicians rifle and also on an early George Schroyer. Fainot shown below.

I would absolutely love to learn this skill but I don't have the raw materials in my area and I ain't paying USPS to ship me rocks haha, they would find a way to break it.
