Hackberry Build Trade Gun

I love the wood, but I would for sure swap out the phillips screws for straight slotted, they weren't invented until the 1930's.

Couldnt find slotted brass screws at my local stores...will visit McMasterCarr for em I guess.

Wood looks nice you did a goid job...but I don't like the Phillips screws.

I know they are later because I have a Model T Ford, and if you have anything with phillips screws on one it is akin to heresy!

I've made stocks from all sorts of non-normal wood species, but it never occurred to me to try hackberry. That turned out fantastic!
