When you bring your pink weapons to a Rondy, I would like to be there.A confident man can wear pastels.

I didn't Sophia Loren was ever past her primeJT ..They say no pictures it didn't happen ..well I've no pictures ...cept in my head ..Think Sophia Loren about 5 years past prime ..mahogany/ Auburn hair, hazel almond shaped eyes and va-varoom for the rest of her 5'6" stature ...she walked kinda regal and had a hint of the Carolina's or Georgia sound but sorta burried like having been away from her upbringing for quite awhile ..
Now I don't want you all to think I was infatuated with this lady ...it's just my 16 years of law enforcement that kinda kicks in when you meet some one new ..you know ..you just remember "stuff"
I will say this ...If I swung everything she did when she walked ...I'd be at the chiropractor now instead of jawing about this new "tool" I have tried to introduce to you pack of wolves

I have a 62 Police with a 6.5 inch barrel but the chambers are so thin at the rebate line it makes me wonder why the factory would not have a rebated chamber as well. I suppose some one could have reamed it full cylinder clear back to the nipple but it appears to be factory work. The inside is blued back in the thin area so I thinks it's probably factory but it does give me pause to shoot it much .Sorry I got the pictures out of order ..the first pic is an Uberti/Taylor 1862 Police that I shot for the first time today and very pleased as it is ONLY 8 " high at 25 yards
The 1849 Colt Pocket is driving me nuts (it is new as in 3 weeks) as it is like 2 1/2 feet high at 25 yards so it is going to take some ingenuity to get me to where I can actually hit an aimed shot without modifying it which I do not wish to do ..although it is a 3rd generation less than 50 years old is still says Colt ..I know some say 3rd Generations not a Colt but the same guy (I am told) was the boss on Gen II for Colt and Gen III with his own $$ and is the brains and $$ behind Henry Arms or again so I am told (is that an unmentionable?)

No chance!
PINK IS ALL THE RAVE TODAY, need I say more? That’s just wrong! Can you see old Wild Bill with a pink dodad picking at his revolvers?
But I might get me one and paint it black (manly style) then hide it in my waist band.
Use my wife's tweezers? IT NEVER HAPPENED! well, maybe just that one time.......LOLCause I was showing her husband and two sons how to load and shoot an 1849 Colt Pocket Model ...she was so appreciative ...and compassionate too! ...did I say good looking? ....she saw me struggling with my BIG fingers trying to get spent caps off of the nipples and she said "Sweetie" (that would be me) ...you just hold up a minuet ..I'll be right back ...
Low and behold she presented me with her eye brow plucking tweezers she had fetched from her car!!!!
Now in my house ..the fastest way to get the boom lowered on a fella is to use the "Bosses" tweezers or scissors UNLESS she is the one operating them and doing so on approved material and in an approved manner
Pluck'n caps off of an 1849 genuine Colt I'm pretty sure won't quite measure up!!!
I said Mamm I'm pretty sure these pluck'in do dads won't be any count if I do as you want ...she says they are yours so do what you want!!!
You guys gotta get you a pair ..just slid'em pointy end down over the nipple in front of the spent cap and then tilt the handle slightly forward and the rascal pops off like it's spring loaded
BONUS: today I was at the farm shooting my new 1862 Police and I was having cocking resistance which turned out to be me not getting all the led rings out (that's on me) ..but as I am thinking of what tool I had with me and the
"M1A1 Genuine Cap Plucker" made my day!
I'm old at black powder but new at revolvers ...so I'm sure you revolver shooters of long standing know all about this but it may help another new to revolversView attachment 82345 ***** like me
Be safe out there ..especially the 4th

I got one with big puffy sleeves my wife bought me, as a gift back in the early 80s. Tried it on once! Still looks like new! I totally lack confidence!Pink used to be a man’s color.
Vikings loved it and pink shirts was a common trade item to the original rendezvous
Your desperate aren't you"IF" things would just happen again that the couple happened to be at range again ,maybe a pic of her shooting the pistols !!
Know the feeling. My wife bought me a pink shirt at a rendezvous I took her to( she called it rose) yeah, it was pink. I dyed it brownI got one with big puffy sleeves my wife bought me, as a gift back in the early 80s. Tried it on once! Still looks like new! I totally lack confidence!

Wait..........you got hair? LolKnow the feeling. My wife bought me a pink shirt at a rendezvous I took her to( she called it rose) yeah, it was pink. I dyed it brown
I know it’s an historic man’s color. Townsend even put one of his gents in his catalog in a pink gentleman’s outfit but I can’t wear it
Bought a pink tool box for my wife, and as it’s handy I grab tools from it often. Keep a pink comb at work, but a shirt is beyond the pale.
