This bowl came from a floor joist out of a house build in the 1810s to early 1820s. The joists are about 12" tall and 3" wide and maybe 20' long. Cutting out most of the soft outer wood which tends to be wormy, I am able to get a bowl 6.25" in diameter and 2.5" tall. The nail hole is from a floor board. Gotta love the look of old heart pine. $60 plus shipping from 24426. I prefer PayPal but will also accept Cash app, Venmo, Zelle online or check or money order if you prefer.

I appreciate you guys that like my wood turnings. I just have fun with it but also don't want to fill the house with it :) any takers for it at $55?
Love yer turnings. I had to give it up because of health. Wood turning is/was to me a very therapeutic endeavor. For a while I made what I called "heritage" pens for folks using old wood that had sentimental meaning to the client.
