handle for blank

My wife is getting me this blank for fathers day and i want to put a handle on it any hel is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a stick tang. Just start with a block of wood and get rid of anything that don't look like a handle. Just remember, form follows function :wink: ... Nifeman

I don't know if it's HC / PC, but I've made a few knives on a custom basis (for the children: all children should be well armed) where the handle is carved to fit their particular hands ... kind of cool to have them get glop on their hands and grab the scale, then whittle some and then have them re- glop their hands, then repeat until they catch on that they're having to glop and grab a bit more than might count as a bad joke ...

How about a small stag crown? No guard, just the stag.
