I have a pot, and looks like the muffin tins will work fine!

Do any of you shoot paper cartridges in your big bore rifle? They seem to work really well!

I made a tapered form out of a pc of broom stick, you can see the one that Daryl made in the picture. He even hollowed out the end for his finger, to help with the rolling of the paper.

I now have a 9" round cast iron muffin pan, three cast aluminum corn bread pans and a mini muffin maker. I am ready to melt down some lead! All this for $6..... :)

I did some speed testing yesterday and..............
At 50 yds with a peep sight, the paper and cloth patch balls [hard lead] went thru the same whole, the third, a soft lead ball was just an inch high. [ I called it high, just as I pulled the trigger] :)

My load with Goex FF out of a short 25" barrel.

125gr-1410fps
150gr-1510

The paper patch loads are 30fps faster than the same load with a patch, but point of impact is the same! :D

I plan on testing some FFF loads and see what happens. :hmm:
