I purchased a collection of parts from various sources designed to build a Hawken rifle. The lock that came in the collection was built by a gunsmith from Ypsilani, Michigan named Harold W. Robbins, Sr.
The lock seems of high quality, and there was an instruction sheet included. I am just wondering if anyone knows about the reputation of Mr. Robbins, and if he is still alive making locks.
Thanks,
Knapper
