Hi. My Harper’s Ferry 1807 Flintlock currently resides on my fireplace mantel awaiting its turn at the local range. I like the look of it so much I plan to keep it on the mantelpiece for display. It is a work of art. Any suggestions for 58 cal. Loads with 3F or a BP substitute would be appreciated.

I’m looking forward to buying another one in kit form when it’s in stock to make a matching pair like you see on the Military Police insignia!

I have used all sorts of 2f and 3f charges in mine, from 20gr to 60gr. So far I have been getting the best results with 35gr 2F. If I load 3F it runs out the touch hole if I don't plug it.
