I have for sale a new Harpers Ferry 1803 rifle that I completed building two weeks ago. The parts are a combination from TOW and The Rifle Shoppe. The Davis lock has been slightly modified internally by replacing the main spring with one from a Large Siler. This one is not a flint basher and works great. I tried it out at a match this past week and it is accurate and reliable. The only change from the original is the use of a thumb spring patch box release instead of the push button butt plate release. The trigger is good also. This one has the 33" 54 caliber barrel. It may be awhile before you see another parts set from the suppliers as they are out of stock on certain key parts. I would keep it but I am swinging towards the Vincent match rifles and had fun building it. It comes with one 12-24 threaded ram rod and one 10-32 threaded ram rod also.
The asking price is $1,700 plus insurance and shipping which should be around $50-60 more I guess. I take payment by USPS Money Order or credit/debit cards by phone. Thanks for looking and please ask any questions.
