I sent the seller a question about lock function. No answer, he's like an estate broker, so he probably doesn't know much about it. He has it listed as an "1847" Harpers Ferry, which is actually the fictitious manufacture date.

I'd buy it at that price. Based on the condition shown in the photo, it's hard to believe it's been fired a lot and that there would be lock issues. I'd be more concerned about the bore condition if someone shot it then didn't clean it for a long time and there was a lot of rust and pitting.
