I hope he’s there when the time arrives , but even though I was trying to be really quiet about taking the pictures as you can see in the one photo he is looking straight at me, they just know .

you better scout out his haunts and switch out his calendar that shows when season starts.
I swear they have them posted so they can disappear or go nocturnal when opening day rolls around.

right now, I'm switching out my SD cards once a week on the ones that need it, two are live action sent to my phone.
Nocturnal is the biggest issue as the rut comes in, but just to fill a tag that's easy lots of does and yearlings.

Really enjoy the cellular trail cam and feeding the animals. I have deer, racoons turkeys,fox,and other there, sometimes at the same time, looks like a Disney movie set.

Nothing but does, coyotes, bobcats and the occasional passing through hog on the cam here. Sometimes the neighbor kid “sneaking in” to go fishing. About once a month see our tenant out checking mushroom logs.
Bucks are scarce in my area. Antlerless limit is 3/day and can hunt all 3 seasons.
