Just given to me today. Not a functional gun as the barrel is not bored or rifled. Action is crisp and timing is good . Cylinder is bored and has nipples. Only identifying Mark is in photo 2. BKA over 98 in diamond. Fancy cap gun? Cousin has had this for yrs bought it at local auction.

Seems like you guys have already identified it, but perhaps you can help me recall something I saw a few years ago. In my collecting group, a guy brought in a similar "cap gun" which could shoot BBs with a standard #11 cap. I think it was styled as an 1851 Navy, and I believe he said it was from the 1960s. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
 
I saw just such a revolver On Gibralter in 1964 small scale affair like some pocket Navy all I recall of it might be same or similar .

at a distance it looks like the real deal! back then they were safe to take out, but now we all know even without a RED PLUG IN THE FRONT END of the barrel you would get shot by a real gun! WOW, how times have changed??
