Haversack with Rustic Bark Tanned Flap and Cross of St.Lorraine
A new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrement and decorated with hand painted artwork. The bag is from a pillow ticking fabric dyed in walnut hulls and fully lined with an interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap and strap are made from a rustic bark tanned leather with a hand painted incised folk art motif of The Cross of St. Lorraine.
The bag measures 8x10 with a 52” strap.
This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
