Someone should buy it for 6.00, and take it to one of those "buy back" programs that police put on to get guns off the street. Would be fun to see the look on thier face.

Ya know, this "gun" could have been dropped in the muddy banks of the Mississippi during the Civil War by it's former owner who was shot off of the riverboat transport and stayed there until a family of beavers unearther it, then someone 140+ years later on their way to Texas seen it and brought it to said gunshop...

Yes indeed, if the Birddog6 had not bailed my butt out, that's exactly what my Jaeger would have ended up looking like.

Actually, that rifle has to have some interesting history to it, but I guess if it was known it wouldn't be a $5.00 special.

I'd buy it in person for $5, but don't think it would be worth the shipping costs.

Wouldn't it be fun to take that on a hunt with some new people, and whip it out of the gun case like you were really going to use it?? That might be worth the shipping cost.

This looks like it might be a southern Reconstruction gun from right after the Civil War. The lock looks like it came from an Enfield. Anyway, too bad it can't talk. It obviously has led a long, hard life.
