Hello to the Forum, realized that yesterdays post wasn't much of an introduction. My name is Dennis, and I live just outside Minneapolis, MN. Been hunting since a youth up on the farm in Central MN. Stopped for a few years in midlife, then got back into it in my 30's. Got into Blackpowder/Muzzleloading then. My Ist deer was taken with my first bp gun, A TC Black Mountain Magnum. I use a Traditions 12 Gauge Inline Muzzleloader for turkey hunting. Also own the first Savage 10ML, a Tradtions 32 cal Black Squirrel, and a CVA Optima V2 Pistol. Plus a couple of dads centerfire guns passed to me. I am also an liscenced Amature Radio operator, and have been combining the two hobbies operating portable from the deerstand and camper, talking to operators across NA and beyond. I enjoy spring morel and Ramp/wild leek hunting, and chase the Fungi right up to fall, collecting Chicken of the Woods, Lobster, Black Trumpet, and Oyster mushrooms. . Do a variety of different hunting styles, put together a Stevens 410 SS together with handloaded tungsten rounds this past spring so I can introduce the grandkids into hunting soon.
