I've been registered for a while but never posted. I have a Hawken rifle I shoot from time to time. I've been thinking about joining a group in the greater Washington DC area but haven't gotten around to it. Around here the groups are are all French-Indian or Rev war related. I may have to but a flintlock. Anyway hello to all.

My Dad was military, so while the family is from Texas I've actually been all over the world. I was born on a US airbase in England (God save the Queen). When I got out of the service myself I came back to the area where my famly was living. All of my Uncles and cousins in East Texas don't refer to me as being a Texan, but I think that is because I'm a Redskins fan and not a Cowboys fan. I have an uncle in Ft Worth he's retired law enforcement.
