Hello everyone, I'm from Turkey and currently own only one Ottoman pistol and I joined the forum to mainly find more about that pistol and also to learn more about this field of collecting as I am mainly a collector of uniforms.

Dear Egebozk Ime from new Zealand but I have hitchhiked through Turkey in 1966 Istanbul to Adana via Eshikir then to van & out by Irun? Persian border and reached Tabriz long haul boter with Kurds but that traveling only words i recall was ' Teshicush i dirum ' & ' Byrak' ?, ' Thankyou' & 'flag' not very usefull but got by no funds to collect any guns but now have the ones that start this 'Ottoman' guns post .Now I know more . I've no idea about uniforms think I only saw one uniformed man & he was asleep on the Border he shouted out but by then I was near to Persia . he didn't fire his rifle. & I made Tabriz that night just slept near someone's garage they dd'nt mind for all the horrors of mad mullahs the People where fine roads bad but busses cheap so I just made my way to Pakistan / Baluchistan. Hope you get your desired information there are several Turkish gentlemen who post on this form.
