Not this deer season but by spring for texas hogs. We started reinacting last year and we totally enjoy it. New tent due in a few weeks, But no camping this year, third son due in sept, so wife is not up for much sleepin g on the ground. Look forward to learning on this site

Yes right now without the rain it is most like a desert. Do you make it down to the feast and what other events in the area do you got to

Yes I have gone to the Feast but not for a few years now. I do need to get back as it a great time.

Hello and welcome!

I just got back form a trip to the States and visited Fort #4 and went canoeing along the Connecticut River with a friend. What an awesome time.

I love the F & I War time period myself and am just getting started in re-enacting.

This is a great place to hang out and learn while online.

See you around camp!

Doc

Thanks for the relpy. Be careful over there and know that you have all our support. Spent 6 years at 82nd airborne til they told me I had diabeties and I could no long stay in the service. One of my saddest days. Take care and when you get back to the state if you make it to Indiana for a friendship shoot us french can show you a good time :)

Doc,
After reading your Bio, I to would like to add my thanks for your service to our Country. As a surgeon in the military your work must be very
rewarding.
Thanks again,
snake-eyes:thumbsup:

In all honesty, no thanks necessary. I have the greatest job in the world.

Being able to patch up our guys in harms way is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

But my Fall deployment looks like it is falling through. I was with SF in Afghan and have just recently been attached to the SF unit here in Korea for the next year.

Looks like i will not be going to Iraq until Fall 2008. At least that is what the COL says.

Can't help but say that I am disappointed not ot be going but very excited to be back with special forces again.

Fergie - Welcome to the forum. Doc is the shopping still good around Yongsan and Osan?

Nothing like a night on the 'ville in Itaewon :)

Only been down to Osan once since I left Camp Humphreys in 2002. Place is getting a lot bigger.
