Thought I ought to do the intro thing.
My first handgun was a graduation gift many years ago. It was an old steel frame '58 Pietta Remington. Since then I've added another not so old Pietta '58 with a steel frame, a brass frame Pietta '58, a brass frame Pietta'51 Colt I did from a kit, a LeMat, and an Uberti Walker. I also have built two Traditions Kentucky pistols and cut down a real beater CVA? Bobcat rifle into another trapper style pistol. I have a lefty CVA Hawkins in .50 and a couple of other right handed Hawkins as well. My most recent purchase was a Pedersoli Howdah in 20X20. I'm getting the itch really fast to try it out, but I've been swamped with a recent move.
I hope to learn a lot here. I'm not a novice, but certainly no expert either.
I have a current project using another beater Traditions Hawkin I'm converting from caplock to flint. Not sure how it will be as it is a right handed rifle and I'm a lefty. We'll see, I guess.

Steady on tree...medication coming soon! :haha: Welcome to ye hillbilly...for a new guy, you're a bit top-heavy in handguns...our kind of guy! You ought to fit right in!

Caught the bug early in life with that first Remmie and have a love of machines of all types. Although I don't think I'll ever switch to inlines for muzzleloading. I kind of like keeping them more traditional. Love my Hawkens too much as well. Inlines seem somehow like cheating. My family all think I'm crazy.
I also have a thing for milsurps and cars, but those are for different forums.
