Hello--I actually joined sometime back but just never got around to posting much. I'll try to remedy that in the coming year.

Glad to be here--- in fact at my age, I'm glad to be anywhere!

Cheers

Yes, I just turned 75 the weekend before last but still in generally good health. Unfortunately, It's just going to be a while before I can get to the range to do any shooting, and will probably miss the hunting season altogether. Thus, my first story and not a particularly happy one: I had a minor freak bicycle fall about 7 weeks ago and got my wrist caught between the handlebars and frame--shattering my radius bone. I had to have reconstructive surgery involving metal bits and screws. :dunno: It seems to be healing nicely and I'm out of the brace/splint device, but my hand and wrist are just not as strong as they should be to manage a long gun. I'll get there but it will take a little more time and exercise.;)

Welcome from the NW corner of your state!

Thanks

Welcome from northern Pennsylvania. My wife and I are casually exploring potential winter retirement homes and I really like the Ozarks of north-central Arkansas, but she hasn't been as taken with the area as I am, so we'll see.
