Hi y'all!

I moved to CO Springs from FL about six months ago. I got the black powder itch again, but I don't know anyone here that's interested in it.

Right now all I have is an 1851 Navy and a flintlock Kentucky pistol, but I'm considering thinning my herd of modern firearms for a Jaeger or early Pennsylvania flintlock rifle. Because how many AR-15s does a guy really need?

Firespectrum, you should get in touch with the Colorado Springs Muzzleloaders at www.csmlinc.org. Active group, two shoots most months, puts on a great three day shoot across Memorial Day weekend.

Also join up with the Colorado State Muzzleloading Association at www.csmla.net. Sponsors of annual convention in March, Territorial match in June, State shoot across Labor Day weekend.

.

Yes the CS MLers are fine and knowledgeable people, as are the Short Grass MLers. The CS shoots are south of town, Penrose. The Short Grassers are northeast, Ramah. If you like, PM me and we'll make smoke in Ramah.

Reached out, thanks!

There’s a muzzleloading shop in Manitou Springs, The Mountain Man. Kinda pricey but has some good supplies and such. Welcome to the forum and Colorado.
