Greetings to All,
Decades ago I hunted white-tailed deer with a T/C .58 caliber "Big Bore" model rifle, and I still own it.
I have become very interested in flintlock rifles for white-tailed deer hunting. So that's what I am here
to learn about. Elsewhere, I've been told that it's common for the mass produced locks on Pedersoli,
CVA, Traditions, etc. to be troublesome, and that L&R Locks, [ lr-rpl.com ] have replacement locks that
are of strong quality. That's the kind of info that I hope to receive as a participant on this forum. The
picture that I'm attaching to this post is of a T/C .54 caliber flintlock, that I think would be a solid start-
ing point for me, if I can find one. And so the quest begins. I'm "All Ears" friends!
