I used the original lockplate and fitted a small siler pan, frizzen, frizen spring, and hammer to it. Since I don’t have any expertise at fitting a breech plug to a barrel, I had a friend do it for me.tell me about that please
Were the small Siler and associated parts designed for a conversion,or did you figure it out by yourself? My Seneca could use a rebarreling too.I used the original lockplate and fitted a small siler pan, frizzen, frizen spring, and hammer to it. Since I don’t have any expertise at fitting a breech plug to a barrel, I had a friend do it for me.
He installed a 32 inch 40 cal barrel. I’ve heard of other folks doing this but have never seen one.
