New to the forum and black powder, military retired with a long history of gun ownership...many of 'em. My latest purchase: a Pietta 1860 Army .44 from Cabelas (great gun).

We are awaiting the imminent (hopefully) opening of the Clark County Shooting Park which is just outside my front door so that I don't have to travel 60 miles to shoot in the desert.

Any other Las Vegas folks on this site?

crewdog, Pull up a stump and grab a cup of mud. Now I'll have someone else to visit when I go out there the next time. Is the Beaver Bag still around?

:hatsoff: Welcome CrewDog. Thank you for your service to our great nation. Glad that you found your way to our forum. Looking forward to reading your posts and viewing your photos. We all like pictures you know. Stay mindful of those gaming places out there. Don't let them get into your B/P funds :nono:. Vern

Thanks for the welcome guys. Las Vegas is a big town now, unlike the Vegas of the early 70s when I first passed through. As far as the 'Beaver Bag', no joy...

Casinos are for the touristas...locals only use them for the buffets and some discounted shows. Conventions have fallen off drastically in the last couple of years. Town revenue is down significantly.
