I am muzzleloading for the 2nd year but have yet to take a deer with it. I am looking forward to learning alot here.

From your handle, I'd guess you have probably fished past my place on Cross Lake, then.....I belong to the Caddo rifle &pistol club near where you live--small world, ain't it?

I try to fish Cross as little as possible. It is by far my least favorite lake. I just can't seem to figure the fish out on that lake.
I have a tournament on Cross Nov. 7th, so I will be out there then. Any advice? ::
