Good morning all! New guy here living in Mid Coast Maine, originally from the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. I've been shooting muzzleloaders as long as I can remember, my first shot with any sort of firearm was from a .40 chunk gun my grandfather was supporting on his shoulder. My interests are pretty varied, I hunt upland birds and waterfowl with muzzleloading shotguns, get a lot of joy from cap and ball revolvers and rifle muskets, and I think longrifles are the most elegant firearms ever made. I've built one muzzleloader (not from a kit), a half stock .32 cap lock and do a lot of repairs/make small parts to get old guns shooting again. I'm looking forward to sharing my love of these guns and learning more about them.

Welcome from Livermore. Google The Ancient Ones Of Maine. We are a very active group with monthly GEEZER SHOOTS! $10.00 a year family or single and we feed you!

Greetings!

I second the Ancient Ones. We're a quirky bunch, but we have fun, and nobody leaves a Geezer Shoot hungry!

What part of mid-coast? I'm in Brunswick.

Ill check it the Ancient Ones for sure! I'm in Surry and work down in Brooklin.

Eric
Just as a point of reference, Surry is not in the Mid-Coast region, but Acadia-Down East. Absolutely beautiful area, love the ride down to Stonington.

Are you into historical stuff? I could share some things in your area on private messages if you are.
