thank you. I work for a well service/ well drilling company out of Fredericksburg. Next time you are in that area stop by Texas Jacks in Fredericksburg. They have some really nice black powder weapons in stock.

Howdy from up here on the mighty Red River... well it WAS mighty pre-1865.
We went to San Antonio via US 281 for Christmas and it's always good to be back in God's Country. Only disappointment was The Dutchman's was closed going both ways. That place is the best!
Welcome to the forum.

Yessir. Seems we have several guys within 2-21/2 hours. I mostly target shoot and done a few Rendevouz. I’ll pm contact info maybe have a gathering.

Welcome from another Texan!
One of the places I hunted for years is just West of you past London -(The K7) at the end of Whiskey Rd. about half way between Junction and Menard, just a mile or so South of the county line.
I do love that part of Texas.

The London area is great. I have a great friend that lives in London. I shot three deer this year just outside Blue Mountain.

That would be awesome. I’m wanting to hunt hogs with my redone CVA bobcat. I’ve shot more than I can count over the past three years. Even killed three with a blow gun.

I volunteer at Ft. McKavitt. They will have a big early 1860’s event there weekend of April 22. Check out their Facebook page if you are on facebook ( I am not on FB). If I am not involved with land survey demonstrations, I’ll be doing "contract" carpentry work. Too old and crippled up to do that army stuff!!!

I’m thinking of finding an agreeable rancher and just having a meet and greet along with some ML shooting and ratchet jawing. Cody might have a place at Ft McKavett. Texas ML Rifle Assn shoots at Brady Lake March, June and October.

I would be very interested in that.
