I am new to this forum but not to muzzleloading. I started back in 86 and evolved into the primitive world. Spent 5 years traveling with an 18' tipi, went to 5 primitive national voos, ran the shootin' match at one when it was still controlled by the good folks at Friendship (pre NRLHF) then gave it up in 96. I use to be Hes Redbird when I did this before but now I'm just plain old Keb. I've recently become a widower so I thought I may as well get back into the primitive world again. I plan on making the ONWTPR in Ohio this weekend but my kit is a little lighter than it use to be but I've enough to get me thru a week. So if you see this child pokin' a fire somewheres, pull a stump and we'll jaw a while.
Yer pal, Keb

Keb,
Welcome to the MLF,great to have you with
us.Hope you will visit and contribute often.
I am snake-eyes :hatsoff:

Welcome Keb, sorry to hear of your loss. I am glad to hear that you are back doing the primitive scene again and I'm sure that.....someday....we will meet up. Emery

Welcome Keb - I just joined the MLF about a week ago and wished I've done it years ago. Been doing a lot of reading of posts, lots of great info here from very knowledgeable folks. My family also are into primitive camping at rendezvous and travel with an 18 ft lodge. Hopefully some day our trails will cross and we can chew the fat. They call me Longshot.

Keb, glad to see another member from the great state of Michigan. This is a great forum.

Check on line: 2009 Michgan state muzzleloading shoot schedule. You should find a shoot or event there that will suit you. See you down the road or on the firing line. By the way I shoot out of Linden & Columbiaville clubs. I know it's a ways to travel, but both these clubs put on some quality shoots.

hey keb, there is a rendezvous in Benzonia mi the end of august. It wouldnt be too far for ya, and it is a good event.

Howdy, Keb, glad to have you with us. I joined this forum not too long ago, and I like it. It has a loy of topics to choose from. Whatever you're interested in should be covered here.

Keb,

Welcome. We needed another Michigan member here - the others were gettin a bit our of control!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Sorry I took so long to reply. I've been busy.
I have hit a few camps around the state (Midland, Western Wayne, Oakland Co.) and just returned from the EPR last Sunday. Had a good time.

:hatsoff: My condolences for your loss. Glad that you found us. It's nice to see another pretty face around the campfire. Lots of knowledge here and a swell bunch to help you over any rough spots. Looking forward to reading your posts. Again, welcome. Vern

I'll be there. I'll be the guy in the white tent. Look me up. :) Actually, I'll be camped in a wedge with a very small dining fly. You know Lloyd Gower? We'll be camped together, or we plan on it if he goes.
