This is an awesome forum! I have been shooting percussion rifles and a percussion revolver since I built my first kit in the early 80's (an Armsport Hawken kit...came out of the box covered in rust and took a lot of metal work to finish it! Also have a Garrett Arms "Purdey" .50 cal. and an 1851 Navy reb model built from a kit. I'm not a reenactor, but I love shooting my muzzleloaders and looking forward to learning more about the sport.
