Hello from New Jersey

I currentlly have a Hawkin .50 and a TC Pro Hunter in .50
New Jersey has some very long muzzle loader seasons ( in certain zones including one i hunt)
I can get over 2 months in. My question is an accurate and easy Muzzle loader?
I like the idea of the firestick. I do not care if it costs a lot to shoot I would only take a couple sight in shots and maybe 2-3 deer a year.
I have been looking at the CVA Pro hunter but its geared towards long range . Normal shots in NJ are 50 yards and under where i hunt.
So is there a better woods type hunter ?

Welcome, I’m in Sussex. If you’re just looking for another way to hunt, as others suggested this is a traditional muzzleloader page.
But for a good cap lock, or flint, look for a T/C Hawken or Renegade. I myself have a Lyman Great Plains Rife I used to hunt with. They can be found used for sale.

Yup. I either have to go to the only place I know of in PA for powder, or buy online. It wasn’t this hard to get stuff here when I was in high school, and I’m (only) 38
