Good morning. I'm Kevin in NC, currently living in Wilmington but that may change. I'm retired and have been interested in shooting and collecting for decades. Lately my interests are trending to the older stuff. I have several original flint and percussion guns with another flint on the way. I even have a couple of golf ball caliber cannons, with plans to build a 3/4 scale Coehorn mortar. I'm a self-taught machinist so I like to do my own gunsmithing/mold making when I can. Hopefully I can learn some things and share some info on this forum. I'm also active on the British Militaria Forum as KevininNC.

Well welcome from London. I am a nutty engineer too. 82 in a few weeks And a collector . My big Workshop is down the cold garden but I squeezed my small machines into the house cycle shed one very cold winter , when needed to make a new bullet mould. love my engraver as a milling machine for tiny parts, You may have come across Hal, “ulfere”on British military forums , chatted most days as both had 577-500 no 2 double rifles. , then one day nothing , I missed him so much, white guy Alabama, there’s Tacalneston too , great knowledge of guns.
