Just joined the MLF and would like to introduce myself. First off, i have very little experiance with muzzle loading (black powder) however i do have a great interest and since i got a bit tired of putting things off, i decided to bite the chomp and jump in with both feet. I live in Sonoma county CA and work in Napa county making wine. If you have heard of a mountainman name of Yount, then you will have heard of the man who was first to plant grapes in Napa County. That, coupled with a cabinmate of mine from 1993 -95 in Gunnison CO got me intrested in the idea of muzzleloading. I am hoping to meet up with some folks in the Napa, Sonoma or Mendo county area as well as try and make a few events over the next year. Look forward to learning a heap as well.

Well howdy IrishJon .. welcome aboard, and jump in with all four feets! :shocked2: :rotf: Glad to have ya here compadre! :hatsoff:

Irishjon,
Welcome to the MLF, glad to have you with us. Very friendly folks and lots of
information here. Most likely a few drinkers of
wine and a few home wine makers around these
parts. Hope you will visit often and contribute
when you can.
Again welcome and stay active

Irishjon,

Welcome to a fellow NorCal shooter. I'm a newbie here on the MLF too, over in Yolo County. If you ever head east past Lake Berryessa aways, there's some black powder shooting going on at the Yolo Sportsman's Association range. Unfortunately, the last few times I headed into Napa, I was on my motorcycle on 128. Wouldn't look right carrying a frontloader on my bike.

Regards,

Coastey
