I hail from Ohio. I spent many years living along the Ohio River, Close to Maysville, Ky., LAND OF FRONTIERSMAN SIMON KENTON. I was a very active Civil war reenactor for years—an avid shooter, including Traditional Muzzleloaders. I have been introducing my son to Muzzleloading. We are currently building a custom Flintlock. He has hunted this hunting season with his muzzleloader. I am recently retired from public safety. I am currently in North Central Ohio but miss Appalachia. Been trying to learn how to play the Mountain Dulcimer and diving heavily into all things black powder.
