It seems to me there are enough black powder shooters within a short distance from each other that we should put together a Sunday shoot! Any takers if I could get a place to meet near the Vermont/NY Border (maybe Whitehall?)

Count me in. I went to the Southern Vermont Primative Biathlon last weekend, nice mild day, lots of shooters. I took my 10year old grandson to observe, he wants to shoot next year! The seed is planted!

I shot that match a couple of years ago, and did well. I had a conflict this year and wish I had made it. Wait till next year!

If the border is open I might get be able to make it if there are no other conflicts. May even be able to bring a friend or two.

Nobody can figure out Bernie!
Most of his support come from Northern Vermont, Barre, Montpelier and Burlington area, of course that’s where most of the “Woke” people live. He can’t live forever, so there is some hope!

Bernie isn't hard to figure out: he is (to my mind) the quintessential "limousine liberal." Self-centered, self-congratulatory, self -absorbed, and self-entitled. He has great fun trying to save the world using someone else's money. He has been riding his hobby horse ("The rigged economy") for decades, and he feels that it's not at all contradictory for socialists to also be millionaires. "anyone can write a book"

how do you hide Bernie's welfare check?
put it under a pair of work boots.

Another shooter from northern Vermont.
We held our primitive biathlon the last weekend of January at Lamoille Valley Fish & Game: windchills -35F both days. In a weird way its kinda nice to have old fashion winters again. Another biathlon next Saturday over in St Johnsbury.

I went to the biathlon in Morrisville. It was actually nice having it cold. helps with overheating!

Welcome from from another GreenMtnHunter! It's been a while since I've seen so many VT'ers on the same thread. That's probably cuz I'm not able to get time to check in very often. But in 3 months an 11 days, that'll change! ;-) In addition to the other great contacts posted here, I'll add the Chester VT Rod and Gun as a good place to burn some powder; Sundays are trap and skeet, ('til may, then it's Tue/Thurs) but otherwise you can often have the place to yourself for a $40 annual membership. They have a Fb page and a website.
