Hello to all, you don't know how long i've waited to find a site like this. I've had my head up 3-D archery's butt for so long, this is going to be a "welcome" change. I've been into muzzleloading for about 20 + years now, but never the way i've wanted to be and i've got alot to learn. Like my signature say's, i've "dreamed" of one day owning a "Long Rilfe" and attending some of the Rendezvous. Maybe now with the help of you guy's here, that dream may come true. :) I look forward to meeting/chatting with each and everyone of you.

I'am starting to have a little concern here. I posted this greeting 2 hours ago and there is currently 33 members and 9 guests logged in and not a single welcome to this site yet. :hmm: Not even a welcome from the Moderators. We're not off to good start here fella's. :shake:

Welcome aboard. Always a good thing to have another southerner on board.

Howdy une, welcome to the best BP/ML forum I know. New here myself. The welcomes may seem a little slow in coming, but they will keep coming. I think members stay busy answering so many questions--they have a lot of knowledge to share. All the better for me and you, we can't find a better place to learn.

une carabine,

Yep, Sorry pard, had a few chores to catch up on. Pull up a chair. This is the best site for what ails ya. An addiction to the smell of black powder in the air.

No you're not. :rotf: Patience is a virtue, don't ya know?

(I noticed that you have not thanked each and every person who responded to your post? :shake: )

Oh yeah, welcome to the forum.

Hello and welcome! As with some of the others, I've been outside all afternoon and just now opened the forum site. I hope you get your long rifle soon and will be able to attend rendezvous as a lot of us do. Be forewarned though, you are not going to be satisfied with just one black powder gun, it becomes an addiction/affliction over time and only a new gun every year or two will alleviate the symptoms! Emery

Sorry but most of us look at night. I work as a historical interpetor. Just got in. Welcome to the site. You will learn much, just hang in there.

to greet you.

BTW -- welcome to the :hatsoff: camp

Well what the heck, I'll welcome ya too.

Welcome aboard from me and my Hounds! :hatsoff:

Welcome, Une Carabine, you're gonna love this forum.I mean it.These people have taught me so much and always been rather patient with my intolerable questions. With twenty years experience I am certain sure you will be a valuable addition.Best regards,J.A.

i'm brand new to the site also. you can buy what you are looking for on auction arms, or gun broker. i've been shooting muzzle loaders, and long bows for years. it cost more to build one than to buy one. i built one 35 years ago. try military heritage, you will be suprised at the low prices, and will be shooting a piece of history in a week. building is a labor of love, and a lot of work. good luck

Welcome! I'm just northeast of you on the old wagon road in southwest VA.
