I'm retired and have been shooting Air Rifle Field Target for over a decade and Rimfire PRS for about two years.

I signed up for class in March to build a Andres Albrecht flinter from a blank. It should be a kick in the pants.

Almost 40 years ago I bought a precarved kit from Golden Age Arms, messed it up, and abandoned the project. It occurred to me I could get some practice on that old kit and perhaps I could get some comments on what I could do better here.

So I joined this forum.

At 78 uk the police took away my real shotguns in case in shot an intruder. But BSA Scorpio Pcp air guns saved my life. No Licence needed if under 12ft lbs. 177&22 Deadly to 50 yards , magic rifle boring shooting same hole at 50 yards.

Here’s an 1850 .5 German mountain carbine , see the workmanship Cost me £800 at auction , too much but had to have it , still not paid off my credit card, pension not much only 82 in March

But I am allowed to collect but not allowed to shoot old guns. Such is uk life and guns
