Hello, I am brand new to your board, and have very literally nearly no experience with muzzle loading guns, other than cannon, and a friend who is a black powder guy. However, I have come across an unusual hand cannon, and as of yet, have not been able to ID the country of origin. It may be Chinese, but, it is located in the Philippines, which have had a lot of invasions for a very long time. It comes out of a collection that has pieces from all over SE Asia, so it could be Viatmanese/Thai/Burmese/Khmer/etc... I would love to hear peoples opinion on this piece who know hand cannon/hand gonnnes. I live in Washington State, and oddly enough, am an Asian art (modern and ancient), antiques and antiquities specialist, but this one is new to me. If I am allowed, I will post some images, and my thoughts. Thank you all, sincerely, Greg.
