After watching my dad and a bunch of his friends get together annually (nearly 30 years ago) during the late Flintlock season in PA one of the first things I bought with my grocery store shelf stocking paycheck when I was 16, was a Traditions rifle, later progressing to a TC Renegade, and eventually buying a nice smoothbore 16 ga for the purpose of hunting spring gobblers with it. I have always enjoyed hunting with these flintlocks way more so than any other form of hunting I do. Having recently moved back to North Central PA I look forward to continuing this type of hunting with the eventual introduction of my son into the mix as well.
