Hello all -
My brother & I (we're sharing this username) have been getting into reenacting (mostly pre-1840) in the last year, have some basic gear/outfits for us & family but would like to make ours more period correct. Found this forum and had to join, it looks like a great community and resource for learning and asking all kinds of questions! Particularly interested in Longhunters and the common people of the late 1700s to early 1800s, how they dressed and why, what they used, how to make all our own gear (which we've already started but have lots of questions which drove us here) and much much more!
