Looks a lot like an Isaac Haynes (or Haines depending on the reference). Haynes is now thought to have had considerable influence on what became the Lancaster School or style. Are the ramrod thimbles octagonal and is the toeplate fairly short? I have a replica Haynes although mine is much plainer than yours! Beautiful rifle.

Yes to both questions. I found some of the makers old friends who said early in his career he put favorite aspects of colonial makers into his work. The wrist area is similiar to Schroyer guns, the things you pointed out to Haines. Just a beautiful example of a longrifle !
